terms & conditions

When you order from Fat Brownie you agree to the following terms.

  1. An order is only confirmed when payment is received in full.

  2. We reserve the right to cancel an order for any reason, but will send you a refund promptly.

  3. If you need to cancel an order, send us an email two or more working days before your despatch date.

  4. If you’re not happy with your brownies, we will refund you only if they are of poor quality or if you have received the wrong order. In order to be refunded you will need to send the package back to us within 48 hours of receipt, we will refund the postage cost. Taste is subjective and very personal so we cannot refund purely because a customer does not like the taste of the product. If, however, at our sole discretion, the brownies don’t meet our high standards we will offer you a replacement or a refund. So please be sure to open the box as soon as it gets to you, to make sure everything is ok.

  5. We can’t take responsibility for incorrect details provided by the customer, which leads to a failed delivery because of the wrong name /  address / phone provided. Contact us to change a mistake, but no changes can be accepted within two working days of your chosen despatch date.

  6. Fat Brownie is not liable to provide compensation for customer or third party errors.

  7. Fat Brownie boxes are sent by first class post and as such will normally arrive 1-2 days after your despatch date. However, this cannot be guaranteed as we are at the mercy of our postage system, so Fat Brownie cannot be held responsible for any delays.

  8. Be aware that if you order on the weekend, we won’t deliver until Tuesday, this is to ensure freshness of the brownies.

  9. Brownies are delivered to mainland UK only, Tuesday - Friday.

  10. As you know, a Fat Brownie box is far, far too big to fit through the letterbox. So it’s the recipient’s responsibility to be at home for delivery. The postman may be able to deliver to a neighbour or leave on the doorstep if no-one is at home. Fat Brownie cannot be held responsible for any problems due to missed delivery.

  11. All imagery, logos, text, photos, content and design remains the property of Fat Brownie and must not be used elsewhere.

  12. When you sign up to our fantastic subscription boxes, you choose to receive brownies either every month, every three months or every four months in one year. In each case, yearly subscriptions are paid in full when they are taken out. You can cancel the entire subscription up to two working days before despatch of the initial box but no cancellations can be made after this until the annual subscription ends.

  13. If your subscription is a generous gift to someone else, we’ll include a lovely card with all the details, including when they should expect their next box. There will also be an allergy information card, however it is the gifter’s responsibility to check that the recipient has no major allergies e.g. to nuts, gluten, eggs etc  for example. You can check all our allergens and ingredients on this website, and contact us if you have any questions.

  14. When ordering a box for yourself, it is your responsibility to check that you are not allergic to any of the ingredients. All allergens are listed on our website under each brownie flavour, you will also receive a card with your order detailing allergens of each brownie in the box.

  15. Discounts and offers can only be used in the time specified. Introductory discount is only valid for new customers, at a limit of one order per household. Only one promotion code can be used per order. Discounts are only available for single orders, not subscriptions.

  16. If you need to contact us for any reason whatsoever, please use the email iwantafatbrownie@gmail.com only. Any other communication method is not guaranteed to be picked up and acted on.
